Answer: Our services are provided to participants at no cost to residents of Dallas, Madison, and Warren counties in Iowa.
How can you offer services for free?
Answer: We receive funding from various sources which allow us to provide free services. The majority of our funds come from various grants and programs in the State of Iowa. Some funds come from private foundations and organizations. Our funders are acknowledged on any advertisement we do.
Who can participate in the programs and services you offer?
Answer: Parents and care-givers who live in our service area can participate in our services and programs. To participate in the Parents as Teachers Program, you must live in Dallas, Madison or Warren County and have a child between the ages of birth to kindergarten entry. Our parenting education programs are offered in Madison, Marion, Dallas and Warren counties and parents and care-givers of children prenatal through young adulthood can participate.
How do I enroll in a Program you offer?
Answer: You can enroll in the Parents as Teachers Program on our website or by calling Rachel at 515-238-8170. For other programs there is usually a name and number to contact on any advertisement that we do. You can always call the general office number 515-962-1020 and you will be helped to enroll in the program you are interested in.
